Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Russistik / Slavistik, Note: 1,0, Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Lotman-Institut), Veranstaltung: Sozialistische Helden und Ungeheuer, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der Geschichte jedes Landes gibt es „einige in politisch-sozialer Hinsicht herausragende Gestalten, die besondere Leistungen […] vollbracht haben“. Die Sowjetunion war eine Epoche dieser Gestalten, der Helden. Dabei wurden viele von ihnen künstlich zu solchen stilisiert oder gar erfunden; die Heldenverehrung war Ergebnis eines manipulativen Systems. Die 1980er Jahre brachten diese jahrzehntelang bestehende Werteordnung ins Schwanken. Die sozialistischen Helden erwiesen sich als ungeeignet für die gesellschaftliche Umbruchstimmung, der Bedarf an neuen war somit groß. Insbesondere der jüngeren Generation mit ihrem Verlangen nach dem Neuen, dem Alternativen mangelte es an Repräsentation. In den letzten Jahren entstand aus diesem nonkonformistischem Drang eine Subkultur nach westlichem Vorbild – die Rock-Szene, „ein Massenphänomen, das es nicht geben durfte“. Bereits ihre ersten Protagonisten, die den Mut zur Abweichung vom sozialistischen Kurs hatten, wurden mit Begeisterung zu Alternativ-Helden von gewisser politischer Bedeutung erhoben. Das vielleicht spektakulärste Beispiel eines solchen demokratisch stilisierten Helden war der Frontmann der Band „Kino“ Viktor Coj - „наиболее мифологизированная фигура русрока“.
Die vorliegende Arbeit ist ein Versuch, sich dem Phänomen des Heldenkults Cojs zu nähern. Im Kapitel 1 werden die Rahmenbedingungen für die Entstehung der Rock-Szene und der Band Cojs innerhalb dieser Subkultur dargestellt. Kapitel 2 geht auf die wichtigsten Faktoren der Popularität und der (Selbst-)Stilisierung des Sängers. Im dritten Kapitel werden schließlich Beispiele die Mythisierung seiner Biographie nach dem Tod skizziert.
