It has the potential to become a ground-breaking phenomenon.Love N Books - I knew there was a twist; people told me there was one but I had no idea what it was. Holy mother of God. Ashley was BRILLIANT with this idea. I was completely stunned. Dirty Boys, Dirty Books -AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ...ASHLEY IS NOW ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS!!!!

Great Premise - But Something is Lacking

The premise of this book is promising - boy and girl fall in love, boy's best friend also loves girl, boy dies, girl and boy's best friend fall in love. The book started with so much promise and then - BAM - it went sideways. While I expected there to be a slow burn romance with swirling emotions - there wasn't. It was 0 - 60 in .2 seconds and suddenly she's in love with him? After the book fast forwards, she drops a random, shocking (because it wasn't discussed at all in the story before that disclosure) bombshell that I felt was completely unnecessary to the story and was distracting. I also didn't get why he was in a MC - that didn't make sense to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the surprising twist at the end of the story, which could have explained all of the randomness of the story; however, given how the story ended, I can't understand why the story was ever told from any other POV than Mira's. I read the book entirely, but I found myself skimming the last 40% just to get to the end. Not sure I would read Book #2 - yes there is a cliffhanger.
All in all, it is a great premise. The characters need more development (Mira and Kylee were juvenile and annoying together), but more importantly there needs to be better editing (several typos) and much more plot development to make this book a 5 star book.

BLEW MY MIND - FANTASTIC DEBUT NOVEL..

WOW.. WOW.. WOW... I can not express ENOUGH how amazing this book is. It's like you smushed every guy, emotion, story, and rolled it into one amazing story that will leave you with the biggest hangover you have experienced..maybe ever..
This story follows a gal named Mira and her boyfriend Danny and best friends Kylee and Skylar.. Right in the beginning you fall head over heels in love with Danny and Mira's relationship..Then comes the tragedy that rips through all their lives.. It is heart wrenching and I have an open wound from it as I review.
The story continues and follows the healing process and just when you think everything is getting better or moving forward.. YOU ARE WRONG. This story took me on a HUGE emotional rollercoaster that I didn't know if I wanted to ride for ever or scream GET ME THE EFF OFF OF HERE NOW!!!!!!!!!!
It's flipping FANTASTIC. One of the best books I have read all year.. Maybe ever. I cant' review in detail - as you need to go into this one unknowing but trust me - it will NOT DISAPPOINT..

Not worth your time even for free

I have sat on writing a review for some time now as I have never left a 1 star rating, but I have never disliked a book to even want to give it a 1 star. I never post reviews on Amazon usually stick to GR but I must have gotten a different book from the book these other people have rated 4 and 5 stars that or this author has a lot of kiss ass friends. The only other explanation I can come up with as to how this book could get a 4 or a 5 star review, is that people don't care what they read, don't care if it's edited, written well or even has a plot or decent storyline, as long as there is "OMG" drama, which by the way is a total copy of another recently published book that I absolutely loved by very popular author that knows how to write an amazing book that truly deserves its 5 start ratings.
This book was all over the place, it went from past to present tense and back all over the place in this book. OMG and the characters, I have never disliked characters so much and not connect with them at all EVER. And in regards to the characters I kind of thought it comical that even the author couldn't keep the spelling of one of the main characters straight, the spelling of her 4 letter name, REALLY!
I really tried to give this book a chance but it was just too painful, I struggled to get to 50% and then skimmed BIG TIME to the end. And I am left kind of stunned, ****SPOILER WARNING**** why the hell would an author write sections of the book in his POV if at the end it turns out to be nothing but a stupid dream, totally doesn't make sense but not much does in this book.
